Peace River Park Improvements CRA Bid 21-01

The Wauchula Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is seeking qualified construction companies to make improvements to the City of Wauchula’s Peace River Park.

The principal features of the work are:

Construction of approximately 19,510 SF of asphalt parking area with lighting and landscape improvements.

Construction of drainage improvements and stormwater pond.

Construction of sidewalks, trails, bridge crossings, swale crossings, and boardwalks

Construction of kayak launch, overlook, and observation tower

Construction of campsites and composting restroom

The Contract(s) awarded under this Solicitation will be funded, in part, with funding received from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Neither the State nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees are or will be a party to this Solicitation or any resulting contract.

A mandatory Pre‐Bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM local time on June 23rd, 2021 at the City of Wauchula CRA Office, 107 East Main Street, Wauchula, Florida 33873

Sealed bids shall be publicly opened, read aloud and recorded at 2:00 PM local time on July 12th, 2021 in the City of Wauchula CRA Office, 107 East Main Street, Wauchula, Florida 33873.
