RFP 20-01 Reconstruction of the Section A of Wauchula Substation # 1

The City of Wauchula, a municipal corporation, seeks the submittal of proposals from qualified firms who are interested in assisting with the partial reconstruction of its sole electrical substation.  The City of Wauchula provides retail electric service to approximately 2,800 customers.  The City purchases bulk power supply from Florida Power & Light and is delivered to the substation via the Duke Energy Florida transmission system. 

Interested parties are invited to submit one (1) original marked “ORIGINAL” and one (1) copy marked “COPY” of their proposal in a sealed envelope to the City Clerk.  The envelope should be labeled “RFP #20-01, Reconstruction of the Section A of Wauchula Substation # 1” and marked with the respondent’s name and address.  Proposals may be mailed or delivered to:

The submittal shall be received by the City only at the above address prior to 2:00 p.m., February 17, 2020.  The delivery of the submittal on the above date and prior to the specified time is solely the responsibility of the proposer.  The submittal may be withdrawn only by written notice to the City Clerk, at any time prior to the above submittal deadline.
