NOTICE OF THE CITY OF WAUCHULA
REQUESTING APPLICANTS FOR THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City of Wauchula will be accepting applicants who would like to serve on the City of Wauchula's Code Enforcement Board. This Board has the authority to hold hearings, subpoena evidence, witnesses and alleged violators, take testimony under oath, issue orders to bring a violation into compliance and assess fines against violators of the municipal codes and ordinances. All members are appointed by the City Commission and must be a resident of the City. The Board meets the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 pm.

All interested individuals must have a resume to the City Clerk, 126 S. 7th Avenue, Wauchula, FL 33873 by Friday, September 2nd at 5:00 pm. All applications received by the deadline will be presented to the City Commission at the September 12, 2011 City Commission Meeting at 6:00 pm for their review and possible selection.
