Dear Friends,

On behalf of the citizens of our community, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the City of Wauchula, located in the Heartland of Florida on the beautiful and historic Peace River. Our city is a truly special community of which we are very proud. Our traditions and values have enriched our community's past as they will our future. It is our hope that your experience will be as rewarding as all those who have come before you.

Feel free to explore all that we have to offer and learn about Wauchula's many attractions - the festivals, events, stores, restaurants and more. Being a Main Street Florida District, our Main Street is the focal point of the city. We have a broad range of activities throughout our area, anchored by our Friday Night Live celebrations which occur on the third Friday night of every month on Main Street where festivities are centered at our beautiful Heritage Park. Each Friday Night Live event has a unique theme, and includes live entertainment and street vending which compliment that particular theme.

Whether Wauchula is your home or you are just visiting, our family of elected and appointed city officials and employees are dedicated to providing excellent city services and amenities, and are here to serve you. Should you have any concerns, you are invited to contact our city office or attend one of our city commission meetings which are held on the second Monday evening of every month.

Having lived in Wauchula for the majority of my life, I have a deep love for the city, its people, its history and its traditions as well as a genuine interest in its future. As mayor, I welcome you to our city and I personally invite you to discover the many great things Wauchula has to offer.
