You will need to contact
the Planning & Zoning Department to check available
dates prior to completing this application. Application
should be returned to the P&Z Department with the
appropriate fee.
Prior to beginning any construction
you must present your construction plans to the Planning
& Zoning Department to make sure your building
falls within the Land Use Development Regulations
and there are no Code Violations on this property.
If an inspection is not done and the Code Enforcement
Officer finds that setbacks are not properly met,
it will be at your expense to move or rebuild your
structure.
When all documentation has been approved
and confirmation from the City of Wauchula that no
code violations exist on your property, you will be
given a telephone call to pick up your paperwork.
You will then take the paperwork to the Hardee County
Building Department for the issuance of a building
permit.
This form is required
for any new construction. This page will serve as the
cover sheet for the Development Plan package. Additional
information and submittals required should be attached/included
with this page.
The request for a sign permit will
not be processed unless this form is filled out completely,
signed and dated.
When all documentation has been approved,
confirmation of no code violations and the first inspection
has been completed; you will be given a telephone
call to pick up your paperwork. You will then take
it to the Hardee County Building and Zoning Department
for the issuance of a building permit.
This form is required
for any rezones, future land use amendments, variances,
special exceptions, road/alley closing or annexation
requests. If the applicant is not the owner of the property,
written consent by the owner must be supplied by the
applicant at the time of submittal to the City's Planning
& Zoning Department.
